Shop and Establishment Act Registration

When an entity employs people who may be casual workers, full time employees, contract based etc, to regulate the work conditions and ensure the workers’ rights are protected, it is mandatory to get registered under the Shops and Establishments Act of appropriate stste, informally called Shop Licence.


WHO SHOULD TAKE


  • Individuals running a shop or having an office or place where they are carrying out business activity

  • All entities having an office (and/or branch) where any commercial activity is being carried out

DOCUMENT REQUIRED


  1. Shop Outside Picture

  2. An Address proof like electricity bill or an NOC from an owner

  3. Application letter in the prescribed format

  4. Authority Letter for Business

  5. Government Prescribed Fees ( All States has there own fee structure)

  6. Business Registration proof

  7. Pan Card of Business

  8. Partners/Directors/Proprietor ID Proof and address proof
